Starting off, ever have one of those days where a particular word looks strange?
Now I don't mean it physically looks weird or it begins to animate. For me it's the way its spelled or the meaning doesn't seem to fit comfortably.
I can't explain the phenomenon but it makes me giggle and think for a few minutes.
Hopefully I'm not losing my mind :T
The world holds me back..
Sometimes I think a word looks really weird when it is spelled right and have to double check its spelling. I hallucinate all the time at night though. I morph objects for split seconds before I realize its just a shadow etc.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, especially words that are spelled nearly the same but sound completely different. That always makes me look at them a bit weird.
ReplyDeleteSometimes this happens, but also if I realize I have been saying a word a lot, I will realize how weird it might sound. It could sound any way, yet there is an understanding that those sounds mean something.
ReplyDeleteSometimes, but not all that often
